Restorative Yoga

Join us for a relaxing, supported practice that aims to restore your body’s natural capacity for health. The goal is to relax rather than stretch, to reprogram your nervous system, and gently stimulate specific organs or parts of the body. 

This class uses props to help you let go of deep-seated tension holding patterns. Learn to self soothe, feel safe in your body, and boost your mental and physical well-being.

Yoga Therapy

Experience movement as medicine—this class invites you to step onto the mat with self-awareness and experience yoga through a therapeutic lens.

Yoga therapy is a way to reconnect with all our koshas, such as our physical body, breath, energetic body, mind and emotions, inner wisdom, and spirit. The benefits include pain relief, better sleep, managing stress, and more. 

As we become aware of and examine these aspects of our being, we can help restore balance and integration in our lives. Expect each session to involve a range of active, gentle, and still practice.

Meet your guide

Danica’s journey with mindfulness started out from research in the field of exercise and sports studies, which later led to her own meditation practice, a greater interest in the areas of counselling psychology, and neuroscience of mindfulness and yoga. She channels her focus into working with people to help them experience mind-body balance, through teaching mindfulness, yoga therapeutics and coaching. On a day to day basis, Danica facilitates the 8-week MBSR, Mindful Schools curriculum for youth, and athlete performance programmes.
