Find balance, nourishment, and rejuvenation through your practice.
Yin Yang Yoga embodies the essence of duality, and the continuous process of natural change. In line with the roots of Chinese Medicine, all things have Yin and Yang aspects which are mutually dependent.
As you dive into the Yin practice, explore an introspective, still and calm approach to connect with the busy mind and body. Allow your body to better facilitate healing, digesting, eliminating toxins, regulating stress, and nourishing connective tissues.
The Yang practice uses dynamic yoga movements or sun salutations that invite qi (prana), also known as the life force that fuels our mind, body and spirit.
Danica’s journey with mindfulness started out from research in the field of exercise and sports studies, which later led to her own meditation practice, a greater interest in the areas of counselling psychology, and neuroscience of mindfulness and yoga. She channels her focus into working with people to help them experience mind-body balance, through teaching mindfulness, yoga therapeutics and coaching. On a day to day basis, Danica facilitates the 8-week MBSR, Mindful Schools curriculum for youth, and athlete performance programmes.
